LATEST ADDITIONS AND UPDATES
DATE: February 8th, 2008
Currently I am working on a large update for the website. It will include a restyling of the webdesign, more than 400 new
photos of various items, an introduction to the Skybirds range of models and revised/updated chapters on the history of
Frog Penguin. Since I have limited time to do this, I can't make a prediction of when the update will be finished, but it will
surely be worth a visit!
DATE: February 8th, 2006
Due to other commitments I will not add any further updates for a while. I still
have lots of information and photos, but don't have the time to update regularly.

SPECIAL FROG ENTHUSIASTS MEETING COMING UP!
On Friday 20th, Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd of May 2005 a
very special FROG, Penguin and Jetex exhibition will be held at Southampton’s
“Solent Sky” Museum (formerly the Southampton Hall of Aviation -
see www.spitfireonline.co.uk/).
It is to be held to commemorate the work of the Wilmot brothers and Joe Mansour
who, between them, founded the well known FROG company in 1932. The organisation
is in good hands: David Wilmot (Charles’ grandson) and Jerry Mansour (Joe’s
son) are part of the team putting the event together.
A FROG and Jetex jumble is also planned for buying, swapping and selling items
and a glider will be built from scratch over the weekend which will be added
to the famous FROG and Jetex "Toy Shop" collection that the museum
hosts.
I am sure this is an event not to be missed by FROG and model kit enthusiasts.
There will be a huge range of models on show, from the very early pre-war flying
models and model kits, to the very last kits to be issued. A great opportunity
to meet other modellers and collectors!
More details of the meeting can be found here as soon as they become available.
